Thank you to all who have shared thoughts and feeling so far on “Thinking At the Edge.” Those of you get your responses in by tomorrow night, I will have time to include them.
Overall I’m struck with “Thinking At the Edge.” When I first went to type the title I wrote: “Thinking On the Edge”
Knowing something was wrong I checked back at the title and saw that it was “AT” and not “ON.” Instantly I remarked to myself:”Of course, two different things… totally makes sense…” But then as soon as I felt I knew exactly what I meant, I forgot. I suppose I’m “AT” the edge when I know, or at least writing, uncovering… When I am “ON” the edge (visually) I am just standing there, hoping it will come, or wondering if I should jump in or at least continue forward…
Being “AT” the edge feels more active and on the pulse, or more so “in the pulse.”
